Student Mentoring (FAST)

Provide focused mentoring of students from First Year enabling an improved employability. The approach christened as FAST covers the following aspects:

First Mile

Lay the right foundation with basic profiling, evaluation and plan. Basic training around Behavioural and Technical aspects are provided based on the profile and plan.

Assert

Build the foundation based on the action plan in First Mile. Leverage on the basic training provided and enable student enhance his knowledge to become a well rounded person.

Succeed

Compliment students’ skills with skills around facing campus interview – While the skills / learnings are important, facing interviews is an art by itself and students are given an experiential learning on campus interviews, the nuances around that and how they can succeed.

Transform

Enable student to embrace corporate culture by delivering a real project incorporating the knowledge gained by following the process, providing high quality application within time – get a feel of corporate by incorporating all aspects of a real life project

Train & Hire Model – ES2 Model

With an understanding of current industry trend, the expected future and the student profiles, we work with the educational institutions to build a model wherein we enable the students for

Faculty Development (TRAC)

Faculty are expected to keep themselves abreast on the industry expectation and train the students in an experiential manner to facilitate better acceptance. However, not always does he/she gets an opportunity to move our of the academia to achieve this. This mentoring process is brought out to ensure the faculty is able to live upto the expectation. The approach christened as TRAC is implemented in the following manner.

  • Turnaround – Enables faculty to understand their role, capability & expectation. The output of this phase is a clear identification of focus areas
  • Re-visualize – This leverages on the Turnaround phase and builds an enhancement plan that helps the faculty to excel in his role. This phase has a combination of training and mentoring of faculty based on his/her current role and expectation and the alignment to industry needs
  • Analyze – This encourages the faculty to self-introspect based on the focus areas identified in Turnaround phase, the trainings / mentoring received in the re-visualize phase and tweak to suit his current role
  • Conquer – This phase empowers faculty to build proximity to students based on the revised model. This phase also relates to the Student mentoring Transform phase wherein the student executes the project. The faculty in this phase become the Subject Matter experts for the students in the Transform phase and could perform the role of SME, Team Lead and/or Project Manager for the project thus enabling them to get the real life exposure

Value-adding Open connects (VOC)

Voice of customer (VOC) is important for success. While as an organization we could provide various means to achieve the goal, there could be other aspects that the education institutions might need as assistance and we as an organization commit to support. Some aspects wherein we could get involved include (but not exhaustive)

  • Customize – Technical/Behavioral/Process training can be customized based on the need of the institutions and deployed

Pedagogy

While executing the tasks we keep in mind the framework narrated below

  • Goal – Enable industry benchmark / certifications, skill enhancements and be multi-skilled
  • Mode – A combination of instructor-led and online self-paced learning along with mentoring at the right time – pre, during & post training
  • Method – The delivery method is a well thought out logical building blocks of various topics,that presents the concepts coupled with case studies with appropriate evaluation at all stages
  • Topic – This could be anything that enables the participant to excel and could be Software engineering fundamentals, to Tools & Process, to Agile / DevOps / Digital Marketing oriented concepts. This will be revisited at regular intervals to ensure this is aligned to the industry need
